ABOUT US

Meet The Sanders

My name is Sam and this is my husband Peco. We are so grateful and thankful everyday to God for placing us in each other's lives. We met at church and became best friends. Little did we know that God was grooming us to be the dynamic duo that we are today. We both love the Lord with all of our hearts and try our best to fulfill his mission for our lives here on earth.

Peco is a 3rd grade teacher and a youth pastor. He loves growing the minds of children and seeing the teens with their "ah ha!" God moments. I work for an amazing mortgage company that is not only a christian, faith-based organization but we have the best motto ever; "We exist to love and value people by leading a Movement of Change in our Industry, corporate cultures, and communities". I also help out with the nursery and teach my sweet toddler babies at church.

Meet Bo

This is our old man, Bo. He is a German Shorthaired Pointer and is about 14 (plus or minus) years old. We joke that he is exactly like me, grumpy in the morning and likes his alone time. He really is a lover though, he just has a tough persona to uphold!

Meet Lily

This is lily, our loving labradoodle. She is 2 years old and looks exactly like a lab but is pure white and has a pink nose and green eyes. You can only see the doodle in her when she is wet... and whoever said that labradoodles don't shed... Well, you. were. wrong. Make sure to add the disclaimer next time that only the 2nd generations don't shed. ;) All jokes aside, she is kindred in spirit to Peco. She is the most sweetest, lovable animal either of us have ever owned. She seriously thinks she is a human, no convincing her otherwise!

Although they would like you to think they dislike one another - as you can see here, they secretly love each other! They are the perfect counter balance to each other, the same as Peco and I.
[Bo is mad I caught this moment on camera... just don't tell him it is on the blog too!]

So that is us in a small nutshell. We can't wait to be able to update this page with our baby from India. We know that God is growing our child right now, protecting them, and paving a way for them to get to their home with us. We are so thrilled to walk this journey and for you to follow along with us. We appreciate all of your support throughout this process and mostly we ask that you pray continually for us and our future child.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future” – Jeremiah 29:11
